Lions first-round CB drops amazing quote about competitive fire

The Detroit Lions appear to have a player who very much fits their organizational ethos in rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold.

Arnold offered a great quote about his competitive nature as he started rookie minicamp on Friday. He is going to get physical and compete with any wide receiver he lines up against, even if that wide receiver is his mother.

Make no mistake, Arnold has made it very clear that he absolutely adores his mother. If anything, that makes the quote even better. It also makes him a great fit for Detroit’s kneecap-biting ethos.

The Lions had a lot of success last year with another Alabama rookie defensive back in Brian Branch. If Arnold can perform similarly, the organization is going to be thrilled.
