NHL bets: Two plus-money point props for tonight's action

Tonight is the perfect type of night to trust in the two home teams and their explosive offenses to deliver us some winning props. Florida should close things out tonight, and Edmonton surely finds a way to even the series against Vancouver.

That's where we go with a few props at some terrific prices, both for 1u.

Sam Bennett point (+120 DraftKings)

Bruins at Panthers, 7 p.m. ET

This price on Sam Bennett's point is simply a beauty, and my favorite play of the night. Bennett has been a major boost for Florida since his return, logging a goal and an assist in two games, and piling up four SOGs in Game 4.

Bennett has an involved role whether they're skating during 5v5 or on the power play, as Boston has been handing out so many power play opportunities that all of Florida's two units are seeing some seriously good chances.

What I'm focused on, however, is even-strength play. As I dove into which players have been most productive for the Panthers, I wanted to see how those first two games in Florida went.

In what may be a surprise, it was Anton Lundell who topped the team in even-strength expected goals and high-danger scoring chances in Games 1 and 2. Well, Lundell's role in those games? Second line center with Matthew Tkachuk and Carter Verhaeghe.

Guess who has that role now? That would be one Sam Bennett.

Leon Draisaitl over 1.5 points (+106 FanDuel)

Canucks at Oilers, 9:30 p.m. ET

We have to go back to Leon Draisaitl here, I cannot believe they're hanging this price on him to find 2+ points again. Sure, he got his second on Sunday at the buzzer, but I don't care.

Edmonton is wildly outshooting Vancouver this series, and the Oilers have scored 11 goals in three games. Despite that, they're down 2-1, but I expect them to even this series tonight.

Draisaitl is on Edmonton's super line with Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman, and it's been by far their most productive. That, coupled with their presence on the power play, is all I need to see to know who is most likely getting involved in some goals here.

The Oilers have scored a power play goal in every game this postseason, and Draisaitl has a PPP in every game. By all means, go there, but I just like knowing that element exists and loading him up to get involved in a few at plus-money.

Draisaitl now has 2+ points in seven of eight playoff games, all four at home, and he has eight points in three games against the Canucks this series.
